Social stability in the context of digitalization of the modern information society
This article is devoted to the study of the impact of the modern information society on the state of social stability in the context of digitalization. In the era of the constant penetration of digital technologies into various spheres of human life, the formation of global interconnectedness and hypercommunication, it becomes especially important to study the traditional factors that ensure the maintenance of normal social order and harmony in society, due to the fact that they begin to undergo significant changes in such conditions. The main purpose of this article is to identify the key challenges facing social stability in the emerging new conditions, as well as to identify possible strategies to overcome them. The article examines various theoretical approaches to understanding social stability, and uses empirical data to assess the impact of the information society on various spheres of public life. Based on the analysis, the authors propose a number of practical recommendations aimed at strengthening social stability in the digital world, including: developing an education system that promotes critical thinking and media literacy, creating independent institutions involved in fact-checking and combating disinformation, developing ethical standards and regulatory mechanisms for the use of artificial intelligence and social media, ensuring accessibility of digital technologies for all segments of the population.
