Career strategies of young people as a reflection of ambitions and competitive practices in professional activities
The article, based on the materials of empirical sociological research, reflects dispositions, factor models of choice, life strategies in the field of career strategies of modern youth. A typology of career orientations of young people is presented, which shows the importance of career aspirations in the ranks of value dispositions. It has been established that regional youth have career aspirations and can be considered career-oriented. The main life choices of young respondents in the field of career and labor decisions are outlined, and the importance of the career ladder in working life for a quarter of the respondents is emphasized. Problems in the implementation of state youth policy are identified, the issue of discrimination in labor activity is raised, as well as the risks of migration behavior associated with unfulfilled expectations and requests for youth career strategies. The contradiction associated with the transformation of the views and attitudes of modern young people towards assessing the success of career and work strategies, based on the construction of a risk map for young people, is highlighted.
