The editor's article briefly presents the structure and content of the issue, expresses an opinion on the topical issues raised by the authors of the journal in the development of the subject area of migrationology. The issue contains articles covering various aspects of migration in the modern world, such as the definition of the ethnic identity of the population, the transformation of national identity into a "supranational" identity and related processes, the outflow of the population. An important component of state demography is the reproductive behavior of the population.
