Interaction between the government and the population: electronic realities
Currently, both the authorities and citizens are joining the traditional forms of interaction, generated by the deployment of the information and digital age. The scientific problem is to assess the effectiveness of the impact of new electronic forms on the practice of interaction between the government and the population. Based on the analysis of statistical data presented on the official websites of the Governor and Administration of the Sverdlovsk region and the Administration of the municipal formation of the city of Yekaterinburg, a tendency to increase the number of electronic appeals has been revealed. The study and generalization of scientific publications, the results of sociological surveys of other authors allowed us to record differences in the motivation of the government and the population in the process of electronic interaction. The conducted research indicates an increase in the effectiveness of management as a process, its greater orderliness. For the population, the new forms can be assessed as ambiguously positive: along with the positive aspects, there are also negative ones.
