Features of interethnic relations in multiethnic settlements
on the example of the Belgorod region)
The article is devoted to the urgent problem of interethnic relations, where there is both friendship and understanding, as well as conflicts and hostility. According to a sociological study conducted by the Center for Sociological Research of Belgorod State University, the author suggests some forms of regulation of relations that must be taken into account in regional management. During the study, it was determined that there is practically no development of interethnic conflicts in the acute stage in the region, therefore, attention should be paid to the formation and regulation of positive attitudes towards relationships of various kinds between representatives of different nationalities, as well as to maintaining stable positive dynamics, despite the formation of neo-nationalist movements, both in the Russian Federation and throughout the world. The research material shows the need to manage interethnic relations in a system of related interests regulated by stakeholders. This management can be based on all types of educational institutions, youth and ethnic affairs agencies, non-profit organizations, regional administration, law enforcement agencies that can contribute to the systemic regulation of complex problems and reduce tension.
