The survey conducted among the respondents revealed different views on important aspects of life, which include: citizenship, moral ideals, patriotism and family values. The results of the study show that a large number of young people focus on a strong family (57.5%) as the main value, which proves the importance of family, foundations and family traditions, the second most important is patriotism (49.3%), this emphasizes the desire of young people not only to create a family, but also to take care of their future, but also to show civic responsibility for the fate of the country. At the same time, the priority of the spiritual over the material, as well as high moral awareness, are less noticeable, but still significant aspects of the respondents&amp;#39; worldview. The article emphasizes the importance of understanding these values for further research and analysis of the social behavior of young people and their role in the process of identity formation in a rapidly changing world.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article reveals the results of a sociological study that aims to study the value orientations of young people in border regions and is a complex process of choosing between modern and traditional values.
