On the one hand, ethnocultural diversity is a positive factor in the development of society, on the other hand, it has a high conflict potential. Modern youth, a significant part of whose socialization takes place in a virtual environment, is difficult to predict today. This increases uncertainty in socio-political stability and makes the study of ethno-national attitudes of young people an important scientific and applied task. The article examines the ethnonational attitudes of youth in the Tyumen region. The results of a student survey implemented by the authors in the fall of 2023 are analyzed. The sources of formation of respondents&amp;#39; attitudes towards representatives of other nationalities are presented. The attitude of young people to the change in the country&amp;#39;s foreign policy vector is shown. The students&amp;#39; assessment of the situation in the country and region is demonstrated. The opinion of young people regarding the impact of the consequences of a special military operation on interethnic relations was revealed. The personal attitude of the study participants towards representatives of other nationalities was determined. The assessment of student youth regarding the conflict potential in their place of residence, as well as measures that can improve interethnic relations, is shown. A conclusion was drawn about a stable situation in the sphere of interethnic relations among student youth in the region.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The issues raised in the article do not lose their relevance due to the great ethnic heterogeneity of Russian society, due to both historical circumstances and current migration, globalization, and other processes.
