The indicators of the problems are the demand for accompanied employment, assessment of the conditions for its provision, the demand for career guidance, assessment of the conditions for vocational guidance for disabled children, assessment of resources for its organization, assessment of the availability of vocational guidance for families with disabled children, current problems in the implementation of vocational guidance for disabled children. The study was conducted by a mass online survey of parents of disabled children (N=1021). It is concluded that the professional life strategies of disabled children depend on several factors, including the type and degree of disability, individual abilities and interests of the child, family support and availability of resources and services for disabled people. Parental support may include choosing appropriate educational programs, receiving specialized training, or access to vocational guidance programs. The task of the regional authorities is to significantly increase the access of families raising disabled children to career guidance by increasing resources in the region for organizing and conducting career guidance for disabled children, as well as strengthening information activities in this direction.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Based on the results of a survey of parents of disabled children in the Belgorod region, the problems related to the professional life strategies of disabled children in the region are considered.
