The article discusses the features of the parental strategies of contemporary students. The problem urgency is caused, first, by the task of strengthening family stability and creating conditions for self-realization of women and men as parents and professionals; secondly, by acute demographic problem in Russia related to the process of depopulation; thirdly, by radical changes in the sphere of parenthood, happening in contemporary reality and generating new forms of parental behavior.
