The characteristics of deviant behavior of Russian youth in the circumstances of changing social reality

The relevance of the problem of studying the characteristics of the deviant behavior of Russian youth has some reasons: a change in the nature of youth integration in the structures of a transition society, on the one hand, and a change in the characteristics of the social reality of this socio-demographic group, on the other. The deviant behavior of youth in classical sociology is considered as a necessary condition for the development of the social system. Based on official statistics, the issues related to the involvement of Russian youth in negative forms of deviation are considered. It is noted, that the highest growth of youth in criminal forms of activity is observed in the transition period of the development of society. From the position of a phenomenological approach, the features of the deviant behavior of Russian youth in a changing social reality are considered. The changing social reality of youth reflects a system of accumulated knowledge and ideas of young people about the conditions of life, expressed in the form of attitudes to values, norms, patterns of behavior, as objects of this reality. This reality regulates the deviant behavior of Russian youth by folding extreme attitudes in the group consciousness, aimed at negating and leveling the values and norms of the general culture and the formation of new meanings of behavior patterns. A significant role in this process is played by youth deviant subcultures, which, in the era of the Internet, strengthen their regulatory function in the virtual space.
